Testimonials
"When I applied to become a Correctional Officer over 15 years ago I was not sure of what to expect but it turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Through the Department I have been afforded everything I need and much more than I ever imagined. From being able to take care of myself and my family financially, having access to a flexible schedule and to looking forward to retirement at a young age. For those reasons, I am truly grateful to be work for the Department."
"Becoming a Correctional Professional for the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections has been one of the greatest blessings in my life. This career has been rewarding and beneficial. I have had the opportunity to work with some amazing people and work in several different areas of the Department. This career has afforded me the opportunity to provide a great quality of life for my family and the ability to travel the world. There aren’t too many career fields that guarantee you a pension for the rest of your life when you retire."
